Ashley started her career in early childhood education and was a lead teacher for toddlers before being promoted to the position of Assistant Director. In her new role, she oversaw the implementation of curriculum, supervised staff, and had administrative office duties. Additionally, Ashley worked at a Group Home for individuals with intellectual disabilities where she provided support teaching daily living skills, functional communication, and participation in community outings. Her devotion to serving the special needs population started with her brother, Danny, who had profound Autism and severe behaviors. Ashley assisted in caring for her brother into adulthood until he passed away in 2015. Since then, she has dedicated her life’s work to improving the lives of others with Autism by giving them a place to thrive.
